Indiana University of Pennsylvania I want to introduce to you, True Culture University. A digital, collegiate platform created with the intention of promoting our voices, our wisdom, our challenges, our ideas, and our support for one another. Under the concept of Pan-Africanism, developed by Marcus Garvey, TCU is developing a safe space for all Black individuals to speak their truths and reveal their worlds. Currently, we have active chapters in the US, Ghana, Brazil and are hoping to continuously expand.
Through student writers, TCU fosters global connections with the intention that our followers will engage and invest in each other’s realities; in addition to expanding our global understandings of Blackness. Our objective centers around the birth of a platform that will function as a hub for discussion and action that will support our fights for racial equality, livelihood, economic success, fair representation, and so much more. As we all know, the ways we navigate this world, ESPECIALLY as Black women are done so with unquantifiable strength and awareness. Truth be told, this world does not deserve to hear us spill our stories or share our insight and hurt, but we as Black women DO deserve to have the world fall silent and listen when we do.
I invite all who read this to share their writings, poetry, music, art, or any form of expression. Come with your agendas and opinions on an array of topics. Educate each other, initiate conversation, and challenge each other in healthy ways. This is our space, and our time to promote a unified existence.
To university students that want to project their voices not only on campus, but to the whole world, contact me! There are opportunities to initiate campus chapters and become part of a global, collegiate Pan-African network. Campus chapters would act as a campus HUB for the issues and achievements of Black students.

Una plataforma digital y universitaria creada con la intención de promover nuestras voces, nuestra sabiduría, nuestros desafíos, nuestras ideas y nuestro apoyo mutuo. Bajo el concepto de panafricanismo, desarrollado por Marcus Garvey, TCU está desarrollando un espacio seguro para que todos los individuos negros hablen sus verdades y revelen sus mundos. Actualmente, tenemos capítulos activos en los EE. UU., Ghana, Brasil y esperamos expandirnos continuamente.
A través de escritores estudiantiles, TCU fomenta conexiones globales con la intención de que nuestros seguidores se involucren e inviertan en las realidades de los demás; además de expandir nuestra comprensión global de la negritud. Como todos sabemos, las formas en que navegamos en este mundo, ESPECIALMENTE como mujeres negras, lo hacen con una fuerza y conciencia no cuantificables. A decir verdad, este mundo no merece escucharnos derramar nuestras historias o compartir nuestra visión y dolor. Sin embargo, nosotros como mujeres negras, merecemos que el mundo se quede en silencio y escuche cuando lo hagamos. Las invito a compartir sus escritos, poesía, música, arte o cualquier forma de expresión. Ven con tus agendas y opiniones sobre una variedad de temas. Edúquense , inicien una conversación y desafiénse unas a otras de manera saludable. Este es nuestro espacio y nuestro tiempo para promover una existencia unificada.
¡Estudiantes universitarios que quieren mostrar sus voces no solo en sus campus, sino también en todo el mundo, contáctame! Existe la oportunidad de comenzar un capítulo en su campus y formar parte de una red panafricana global. La sección de su campus actuaría como un lugar de encuentro del mismo para los problemas y logros de los estudiantes negros.
